Zurich, Switzerland

It features the downtown district with beautiful Lake Zurich and the majestic Alps in the distance. Centered in the photograph is the Limmat River, which flows from Lake Zurich. Near the lake, on the left bank of the Limmat River, with its twin towers, is the Grossmunster Cathedral, which was completed in the 14th century. To the right of Grossmunster, across the river with its green steeple is Fraumunster, and to its right, with the largest clock in Europe, is St. Peter’s, Zurich’s oldest church. Zurich is Switzerland’s most populous city.
