Interior with Plant, Reflection Listening (Self Portrait Detail)

In 1995, in St.-Paul-de-Vence, Jean-Louis Prat, the Fondation Maeght's longtime director, chose to focus an exhibition, on Francis Bacon and Lucian Freud . Prat identified them as "the prominent actors in the English school and in the School of London, which, albeit little known and invariably badly exhibited, is held together by tenacious individualism." For the occasion, the Fondation Maeght released this limited edition reproduction “Interior with Plant” on light glossy stock paper with text.
