Sex machine and red hot draughtsman Egon Schiele was born at Tully in Austria. After his stationmaster dad went off the rails and died completely loco, Egon was overseen by an uncle who allowed him attend the Vienna Fine Arts Academy in 1905. A year later Egon called on his hero Gustav Klimt, who told him his pictures showed 'too much' talent (but definitely not too much thigh, buttock or breast).
Egon set up his own studio in 1909, after spending time studying and doing workaday stuff like shoe design and blokes' fashions. Word soon got out that Egon's place was a chill-out station for the wayward and delinquent and it soon became filled with wall-to-wall nymphets. This appalled Vienna's moral guardians but delighted lusty Egon who began 'painting' the chicks just as fast he could squeeze the pigment from his tube.
Aged 21 Egon and his new steady 'n' model, Wally, decided the Vienna scene was too heavy and set up in a local town. Nevertheless, in 1912 the fuzz dropped by and confiscated more than a 100 of his pictures, saying they were pornographic (and the cop shop walls could do with livening up a bit anyway). Egon was also charged with seducing the local Lolitas who'd once again flocked to him by the libido load. The magistrate let him off the seducing but gaoled him for the porno', then publicly burned a little 'masturpiece'.
By 1918 Egon was married, living in a posh house and thought of as Austria's leading young artistic light. However, before he could turn into Rolf Harris, he died of Spanish flu.
