Art has been an important part of Jane's life since she was old enough to hold a crayon. Margins of school books were filled with fantastical drawings rather than notes from the lessons! Her subsequent career as an Interior Designer involved producing meticulous perspective watercolours of rooms. This discipline was a good training in a traditional art form; however Jane found it far more exciting once she began experimenting with acrylics, oils, pastels & collage in the production of larger scale works. She is not afraid to use striking bold colours and shows a keen eye for a satisfying and original composition. Photography has always been a passion that has developed alongside her art.
