I like to think that my art is of a modern style which blends well on the walls of our modern day homes. Lets face it everything has its time and art like Art Deco was great in its time and the impressionists revolutionised art with their bright colours and new style of painting back in their day, but now days these past types of art rarely compliment the décor of a modern home, Hang a modern abstract full of colour on white or light painted walls and blend the paintings colours with other items in your room and this will give that great modern look. So when I start a new canvas I pick out the colours before I start and very often mix them together creating the colour which blends them, I then like to add just a touch of realism to an abstract view, this eventually gives the canvas the style and colour of my modern style.
