Maria Larkman was born in 1964 and studied at the RMI Berghs in Stockholm and started her career as a creator and graphic designer.
Larkman works with her own technique, Lacollage®, a collage on canvas combining photography, painting and layers of varnish. The dominant themes of her work are passion, love, longing, life and positive movements around us. Larkman’s soulful dreamlike works are often inspired by film, music and theatre.
Her works have been exhitited in Sweden, Norway, Germany and Australia.
