i am a scottish born artist now living in the northwest, exhibiting regularly in scotland and england. i paint in oil, acrylic and pastel and also do many art demonstrations and workshops.

my style is representational, featuring seascapes, landscapes, still life and some figure painting.
i simply love painting, and do about 70 pictures a year.
i live near wigan and am married, with 2 children and 2 grandchildren. i am a semiretired physics teacher, still teaching 2 days a week. my other passions are astronomy and, despite being scottish, cricket!
