Wright Barker was a well-known painter of canine art.
He was born during the second half of the nineteenth century in Bradford, England and spent the duration of his life in Ollerton, Yorkshire, where he had his studio.
Wright Barker exhibited regularly at the Royal Academy from 1893 and continued to win prizes until the early 1930s.
