The inspiration for Easyart didn't just start with the arrival of the internet but rather goes back more than 150 years to a pioneer of picture merchants, Arthur Tooth. The son of a humble framer, Tooth made his fortune selling etchings to well-heeled Victorian patrons - usually from a semi-recumbent position on a sofa in his club. In 1999, his great-great-grandson, Simon Matthews, gave the old family business a modern twist, using Internet technology to take the stress out of buying framed art.

At Easyart we want to make shopping for art easy and enjoyable. The Easyart website brings you an accessible, convenient art marketplace, with the UK's widest selection of reproductions, limited edition prints, photographic images and posters, all supported by the services of our in-house framing team.

Who are Easyart?

		Simon Matthews, Founder After dumping a dull City job in 1988, Simon went to work in the art world, putting a contemporary spin on a trade his family has pursued for over 150 years. A co-founder of Davies and Tooth, art dealers and consultants specialising in art for the corporate sector, he is also founder and Managing Director of the Air Gallery in Central London.
		Ian Brooker, Managing Director Ian started his career in the Civil Service, but soon left this fusty world behind and leaped into Chamois Leather (unfortunately photos of this time no longer exist). Now it’s art of a very different kind that Ian lives for! That and of course, ensuring Easyart continues to be the Number One for art on the web.
		Simon Hayes-Fisher, Master Framer A framed picture completes a room and when you have an Easyart framed picture, we can guarantee you are getting the best quality handmade product you will find. Not only that but at prices we guarantee are lower than you will find at your high street framing shop. And the man who makes it happen is Simon HF, who's been framing everything that can be framed for more years than he cares to remember.
		Marie Perry, Head of Customer Service Marie has been taking care of people for years, most recently at BT. Now she has in her charge the most important people of all - our Customers! To be honest, most of Marie's time is spent dealing with the many admiring calls and e-mails that you shower us with! From time to time, though, there are the occasional little hiccups that we have to deal with (we're only human...!), and Marie uses all her charm and efficiency to make them all better!
		The Easyart Team Here we are - the majority of the Easyart crew. It was no mean feat getting everybody looking fairly sane - you should have seen the rejected group photos! Since this was taken we have several new members... and we plan to keep on growing so watch this space.
